  • GOLD 90.5FM Chinese New Year Office Visit

    ARC hosted the Mediacorp GOLD 90.5FM DJs for the Chinese New Year Office Visit on 22 Jan 2020. Besides tossing Yu Sheng with the ARC staff and students, we even arranged for one of our robots, a UR5 to toss Yu Sheng with the DJs. A video clip of the tossing can be seen on DJ Mike Kasem’s Instagram.

  • Singapore Robotics Game (Tree Inspection Robot) 2020

    ARC would like to invite interested students to participate in the Singapore Robotics Game (Tree Inspection Competition). To know more about the event, please join the online sharing. Details of the event is as follows:

    Date: 24 June 2020

    Time: 2.00pm

    Duration: 1 hour

    Platform: Zoom (meeting link will be provided upon RSVP)

    Programme: Short introduction to the competition challenge by NParks, followed by Q&A session

    All interested parties are invited to join the session. Please RSVP to National Parks Board (Mr Gervais Lee) regarding the expected number of attendees.

  • James Dyson Award (JDA)

    James Dyson Foundation Southeast Asian is inviting you to apply for JDA. Since 2005, the JDA has challenged inventive undergraduates/postgraduates and recent graduates (in the last 4 years) of engineering and design, to invent something that solves a problem. We have a wide range of opportunities that will excite and expose you in the robotics field.   • The 8th International Conference on Robot Intelligence Technology and Applications (RiTA 2020)

    The 8th International Conference on Robot Intelligence Technology and Applications (RiTA 2020) is held from 30th Oct – 1st Nov 2020 at Cardiff School of Technologies. It is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, Springer and Emerald’s publications (Web of Science and/ or Scopus-indexed).  As a joint event the EUREKA Eisteddfod Roboteg, the first Robotics Expo to exhibit more than 30 robots in Wales, will be co-located with RiTA 2020 over the same period along with the delivery of PhD Poster presentations.
