ARC hosted the Mediacorp GOLD 90.5FM DJs for the Chinese New Year Office Visit on 22 Jan 2020. Besides tossing Yu Sheng with the ARC staff and students, we even arranged for one of our robots, a UR5 to toss Yu Sheng with the DJs. A video clip of the tossing can be seen on DJ Mike Kasem’s Instagram.

Over 150 delegates, including students, academia, government and industry delegates attended the event.

Starting from 2020, ARC is developing an autonomous minibus for NUS as mentioned in the NUS President Letter. This will be an experiential learning project for NUS students to gain a better understanding of autonomous technology and, at the same time, have a chance to develop a product for the NUS community.
