The Advanced Robotics Centre is pleased to offer our direct intake scheme for Engineering students choosing their Final Year Project in AY2022/23.

All projects offered by ARC may be used in fulfilment of the requirements of the Robotics Specialization.

Amongst other benefits, our new direct intake scheme allows students to be matched with appropriate topics, get to know their prospective co-supervisors, and secure their desired topics in advance. Should students choose not to participate in this scheme, they will still be able to select robotics projects using the FYP balloting system. However, their selection will be more limited and they will not be guaranteed an FYP at ARC.

Wait for the project I/C(s) to contact you for an interview session.

> Interviews will take place over the period of 19th – 31st May.  

> If no response has been received within 3 working days, please check your spam mail.

> If you are unable to find our response, write to robotics@nus.edu.sg.

During the interview, you and the project I/C(s) will discuss possible FYP topics for you to work on.

After the interview, decide on which topic you would like to accept and inform your interviewer(s).

> The deadline for declaring your topic to your interviewer(s) is 31st May.

> Topics are allocated on a first come first serve basis. It is recommended to contact your interviewer as soon as possible after the interview to guarantee that you get the topic of your choice.

We will inform your department of your assigned topic and supervisor for project allocation in the FYP system.
