Prof Ang’s research spans across robotics, automation, computer control, and artificial intelligence, and he is actively involved in the Singapore Robotic Games as its founding chairman as well as in the World Robot Olympiad as a member of the Advisory Council. Currently, Prof Ang is pioneering projects in autonomous vehicles and personal robotic assistants that will improve the lives of the needy and disadvantaged.
