Cheah Kok Keong, Senior Manager of NUS Advanced Robotics Centre, in his capacity as Chairman received the Total Defence (TD) Advocate Award for Organisations, from Minister for Defence, Dr Ng Eng Hen on behalf of Taman Jurong Community Emergency and Engagement Committee (C2E).
At the Total Defence Awards Ceremony 2024, 144 Total Defence (TD) Advocate Awards were presented to 64 Small and Medium Enterprises, 26 Large Companies, 39 Organisations and 15 Individuals.
The TD Advocate Award is the highest accolade that recognises the exemplary support of businesses, organisations and individuals toward Total Defence. It is also the first time a grassroots organisation is receiving this award.
