Introduction:
Big data and Artificial Intelligence are becoming extremely relevant and increasingly important in manufacturing industries. These new disruptive technologies could potentially help companies with current challenges by becoming more flexible and making reacting to changes in the market easier. It can also increase the speed of innovation and is very consumer centered, leading to faster design processes. The workshop aims to discuss on standardisations gaps and on areas where standards can support the use of big data and artificial intelligence in industry transformation.
