Professor Marcelo Ang was invited to join the Singapore delegation to promote Singapore as a centre for robotics activities in Asia, together with Singapore Industrial Automation Association, and Singapore Tourism Board. They met the Singapore Ambassador to France, HE Zainal Arif Mantaha, who gave an encouraging talk on robotics and automation in Singapore. They also met many companies and startups who are interested to come to Asia with Singapore as a possible base.
