Calling for Participants for the Robomaster Competition

Robomaster is an annual robotics competition held in Shenzhen, China and is organized by DJI.  The purpose of Robomaster is to develop young talents in the field of robotics and engineering.

This year, NUS will be forming a team with the intention of participating in the 2020 Robomaster competition.

If you want to develop your engineering and robotic skills and be put into a challenging and competitive environment we want YOU!!

Students of all years (PG and UG students) are welcome.

Timeline : August 2019 to August 2020

Aug 2019 – October 2019 (initial training and development, Registration)

Dec 2019 – April 2020 (Development of competition robots)

May 2020 – July 2020 (Final development and final preparation)

Aug 2020 (competition season)

Requirements :

·         Willing to work hard and put in significant hours

·         Willing to develop solutions that may not be immediately obvious

Students’ learning journey :

·         Experience building a robot from three major areas, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering

·         Experience all aspects of robot development from design to manufacturing to testing

·         Experience multi-disciplinary projects with project management aspects
